Your role in our Team:

  • You will provide support to all LYNX departments on relevant legal, compliance, AML compliance and regulatory issues in the Czech Republic.
  • You will do this as legal counsel by conducting research, analysing challenges and formulating advice on local regulations and helping to draft legal documents. In this way, you help the entire organization to manage and prevent legal and regulatory risks. In this role you will also be our Compliance Officer. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that LYNX operates in full compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies in the Czech Republic.
  • You’ll advise management on compliance-related matters, execute, monitor, and report on the compliance monitoring program, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and represent the organization in discussions with Czeck regulatory authorities and external auditors. You’ll conduct risk assessments and ensure that control frameworks are robust and up to date and prepare periodic compliance reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Your expertise in legal and compliance, combined with a proactive approach and excellent communication skills, will make you the perfect addition to the LYNX Legal & Compliance team.   • As an online broker, LYNX is supervised by financial regulators and it is your job to ensure that we meet the requirements set within this specific legal framework.
  • You closely follow all changes in legislation, rules and regulations and translate them to the business by setting up best practices and creating training courses.
  • The legislative frameworks with which you will come into contact has thus a challenging multifaceted corporate and regulatory angle.
  • You will work from Prague in the Legal & Compliance team and work together on an international level with your 14 teammates from the other European offices.

 

Who are we looking for:

  • 4–7 years of experience as a legal counsel or lawyer, ideally combined with experience as a compliance officer in the financial sector
  • Degree in Czech law and a strong understanding of local legal frameworks and regulations
  • Able to translate complex legal and regulatory information into clear, practical advice
  • Strong analytical skills – capable of viewing issues from multiple perspectives and identifying core risks or opportunities
  • Affinity with the financial sector, particularly Capital Markets, and a keen interest in ongoing developments
  • Fluent in both Czech and English, written and spoken
  • Independent and confident in setting priorities and managing your own workload
  • Proactive mindset – always seeking improvements and more efficient ways of working
  • Excellent communication skills – able to connect easily with colleagues and stakeholders across different functions
